i want to know about territorial army service. i have ncc "cee" certificate with C grade and graduation in arts with 48%. can i join territorial army as an officer without given any written test.?
There is no relaxation in this case for u..However u can be directly enrolled as a Junior Commissioned Officer in TA. For that u may write to the TA Group HQ.
I am employed in a state Govt. under probation period of 2 years my query is can i be allowed to apply for the TA as i have only completed 6 months of my probation. Pls Guide
GOI,Deptt of Pers & Adm , M\o Finance, STATE & CENTRAL GOVT, PSU all are eligible including BANK employees as per GOI rule & GUIDLINEES in the NATIONAl impotance BUT the civil Govt employeers are not encouraging this--- a loss -- & COMPROMISING national security &intrest
I hope you are doing good. I had cleared the PIB last year on 26&27 October 2010 and had received the group recommendation letter from Southern Command Pune on 20th Nov.2010.
It was mentioned in the letter that "You will now be required to face SSB for which the call up letter will be issued by the AG's Branch/Recruiting Directorate. But I have not received any call up for SSB till now. Please let me know the way forward. Meanwhile I have also filled up the forms for current notification in Feb.11.
Hi Susanta Congrats for clearing PIB. Ur SSB cal would come anyway, so dont bother much about that. Start preparing instead..In the meanwhile fill up forms for the next entry as well. Best of Luck..
Meanwhile, I had filled up the TA form for next entry and have received the PIB call up notice, exam is on 03April'11 at TA GP HQ, Southern Command, Pune.

Yes u can subject to the departmental rules. Pl check for that.
