Why Republic Day is Important to all Indians?
26th January 1950 is one of the most important days in Indian history as it was on this day the constitution of India came into force and India became a truly sovereign state. In this day India became a totally republican unit. The country finally realized the dream of Mahatma Gandhi and the numerous freedom fighters who, fought for and sacrificed their lives for the Independence of their country. So, the 26th of January was decreed a national holiday and has been recognized and celebrated as the Republic Day of India, ever since.

indian feel proud of self,they watch national parade on TV only if some of their realative or neare & dearer is there in parade,rest while u ask any delhiete is he willing to cooperate while rehersal of parade is on ,are bus drivers willing to halt or deveiate their route for the parade function NONE is willing or ready to cooperate they are foeced by police to do so WERE is the feeling of national pride? no were in todays corrupt society NONE is bothered about COUNTRY republic day is taken as RH or an FH leave by all Bankers\PSU employee\central Govt babus etc IT is purely left to Police & security forces to celeberate\organise this national festivalsome school also does a good celeberation with lesser attendence both teachers & students seems least intrested these are the fact & ground realites in todays INDIAn
